Traditionally, it includes, apples, red onion, and cinnamon or ginger, red onion, and cinnamon. It depends on what region of the Dominican Republic you are from.

Truth be told, growing up, and in my current household, we drink this tea regularly for its immune boosting benefits.

We definitely up the dosage, though, when any one of us is dealing with any kind of cold, flu, or viral cough. 2-3 days of drinking 2-3 cups a day and we feel better so quickly! I mean i’m honestly shocked every time it works at how quickly we are relieved!
