How to Make Cinnamon Tea (Using Sticks or Powder)

Drink a daily cup of Cinnamon tea with this simple recipe for abounding benefits. Very easy and cozy beneficial goodness!

Servings: 4 Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Sticks Cinnamon (2-3 tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 4.5 cups water
  • Honey to taste

Method
 

  1. Fill your pot with water
  2. Add 3 cinnamon sticks (if you have powder, add 3 tsp of cinnamon to a tea bag)
  3. Place on medium-high heat, once it begins to boil reduce to medium-low
  4. Let simmer for 10-15 min
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest and cool slightly (5-10 min)
  6. Add honey to taste and enjoy!

Notes

Use ceylon cinnamon instead of cassia whenever possible to reduce the risk of side effects.
For added benefits from other sources, I like to enhance my tea with different add ons. These can be added at the very beginning into your pot, but are all optional though.
