Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9 by 13 baking dish, set to the side.
Combine milk and water in a microwave safe bowl, and warm to 110 degrees.
Add in butter, honey, and active dry yeast. Set aside for 10 min or until bubbly.
In a stand mixer, mix 3 1/2 cups of flour and salt with a dough hook.
Slowly add the wet ingredient mixture. If the dough is too wet, add the rest of the flour one tbsp at a time until the dough is smooth.
Shape dough into a ball and place in a greased bowl to rise for 15 minutes.
Punch dough down, divide into 12 equal sizes, and place into your greased baking dish.
Cover with a damp towel.
Set in a warm place to rise for another 25-30 min or until doubled in size.
For egg wash - In a small bowl, beat one egg and brush over the tops of your rolls after second rise, but before baking.
Bake for 15-20 min or until lightly brown on top.
Let cool (if you can resist) and enjoy!
