I am definitely biased, but i truly believe this is the best seasoned salt recipe! I have used store bought, and it simply does not compare to homemade!

Ingredients
- 1 cup salt
- 5 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
Instructions
- If not using fine ground black pepper, grind pepper in a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder until it is fine and the same size as ground garlic
- Place salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar in a glass jar. Mix well.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a year.
Tips for the best seasoned salt recipe
- Use your salt of preference. In this recipe, i used pink Himalayan salt, but have made it with table salt in the past without issue
- Spices are best within the first 6 months. They are okay after 9 months. After one year, toss the old batch and simply make a fresh batch for the best flavor.
